Dragon Ball: Decisions That Have Made Us Cringe

The Dragon Ball franchise is one of the most beloved anime series out there. The reason it’s so well regarded largely has to do with the large scale action sequences, the memorable characters and the vicious villains who threaten our heroes with world ending plots all the time. What it isn’t known for is featuring characters who make rational decisions on a daily basis. In fact, most Dragon Ball fans enjoy nothing more than to lovingly poke fun at some of the biggest bonehead decisions Goku and company have made over the years. Any time you think you’ve seen the ceiling on how ridiculous Goku can be, he finds a way to raise it.

Some of these decisions come from the honorable side of our heroes. While it is clear to us fans that some of the vilest, cruelest characters in the franchise deserve to be taken off this mortal coil with extreme prejudice, our heroes sometimes don’t think that way. This decision has come back to haunt our heroes time and time again as these villains return to create more havoc.

Other decisions are about pride. Our heroes are either too prideful to do what needs to be done at the time or they are so eager to prove themselves that they create problems that could cost the multiverse billions of lives. Training is good and all, but is it really worth an entire universe?

So let’s dive right in and explore some of the worst choices in Dragon Ball history!
